Local initiatives know their workers, organisations and context; WORK:DATA would carry methods and comparisons between them. The Uber drivers project of GVA:DATA is a local factor of a wider question about platform work. Methods and questions travel between places; raw personal data does not, and each place keeps control over what its participants share.
