From individual rights to collective voice

Mechanism · Collective use

Work with labour unions and workers' organisations so that individual data requests support collective bargaining and advocacy.

Individual access rights become more useful when workers can pool insights, with consent, to describe shared conditions. Labour unions and workers' organisations bring experience of organising, rights and negotiation. Collaborations would define roles, consent and limits on data sharing, and preserve the independence of findings. Naming such organisations expresses a direction, not a claim that partnerships are in place.
